You can also apply Spectracide Insect Killer as a band around a home's
foundation to protect it from roach, ant, and flea infestation.
If you see dead lawn patches in your yard, along with birds pecking at it,
chances are your lawn is infested with grubs. Use a shovel to test a few soil
samples around the lawn for grub infestation. Simply use the shovel to pull back
a small section of soil and see if you see white grubs in the soil just below
the grass roots. If you do, then you should apply an insect killer such as
Spectracide's Insect Killer. If left unchecked, the grubs will continue to eat
the roots of your lawn's grass until the lawn is completely dead.
When applying Spectracide Insect Killer it is best to do it just prior to a rain
storm, or water it in after applying it to the lawn. After applying Spectracide
Insect Killer, children and pets should not be allowed to play on the lawn until
it has been watered into the soil and the lawn has had a chance to dry.
