In this video, Mark Donovan of HomeAdditionPlus.com shows how to window seal using window caulk in this video. Prevent cold drafts by window sealing around the exterior of your windows with window caulk. Make sure to use a waterproof exterior grade caulk when applying window seal caulk. Apply 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide bead of window caulk where the clapboards butt up against the window frame. Use a moist finger and run it down the length of the window caulk to create a smooth seal.
