Prior to starting any home improvement project
it is always a good idea to think ahead. Start by moving furniture and other
obstructions out of the way. Lay a drop cloth down. Anticipate all the tools you
will need for the project and gather them near the site. Also have a rag handy.
Finally, if you are working on a mechanical or electrical project take a few
pictures first before disassembly. You can use them for reference later if you
have trouble during the reassembly phase.
