I was recently up visiting my parent’s home in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, near Lake Winnipesauke, and decided to bring along my new Nikon D3100 D-SLR camera. While there I wound up taking a lot of photographs of my mother’s art paintings. Her art paintings are absolutely amazing, particularly when you consider the fact that she only began painting less than 10 years ago. The texture, color and depth of her paintings simply reach out at you when looking at them. You feel like you’re stepping through time or into another place when viewing her art work.

Though I am still learning how to use my new Nikon D3100 Digital SLR Camera, I took some fairly good pictures of her art paintings and decided to post them for others to see.
