Today I mowed my lawn for the first time this year.
Surely a sign that summer is nearly upon us.
As usual the lawn mowers did not start on the first tug
of the cord. Every year I think I might get away without performing the usual
spring maintenance, but it never fails. Spark plugs are fouled, the carburetor
and air filters are dirty, and so on. After an hours work, however, both lawn
mowers started and were running smoothly.
In this month's issue we provide
some helpful tips on how you too can get your lawn mower running without
having to take it to be serviced and having to pay an arm and a leg.
In addition, this time of year is a great time to
weatherproof your deck. In this month's newsletter we provide some helpful
tips and instructions on how to go about sealing your deck.
Late spring is also a good time to either paint the
outside of the house or install that vinyl siding that you have been
contemplating for so long. Included in this month's issue is an article to
help you consider the vinyl siding options that are available today.
Finally, late spring/early summer is also a good time to
consider paving your driveway if it has not been done yet or is in need of
repair. We have an article, as well as a new paving contractor bid sheet, that
discusses how to hire the right paving contractor for your home.
As always, if you have any specific Home Improvement
questions or would like to see articles on certain subjects send me an email at
contact@homeadditionplus.com.
Again, good luck with your home improvement projects.
