Dear HomeAdditionPlus.com Website Visitor,

Though we are in the midst of the holiday shopping season, and the snow has begun to fly, December is still a great month to be at least contemplating future home improvement projects.

In addition, a home’s state of well being is never static. There are always things breaking or wearing out such as furnaces and dishwashers, and there is always that accident where your teenager son accidentally puts his knee through the sheetrocked wall as he is jumping down the stairwell.

Backyard Arbor

Consequently, we have dusted off one of our old how-to articles on “Repairing Small Drywall Holes” to explain the relatively easy task of repairing holes in sheetrocked walls.

On a similar vein, we have also included an article on dealing with another minor, yet frequent calamity around the home, unclogging a drain.

With the daylight hours so short this time of year we also thought it might be a good idea to look at a few lighting ideas and tips that can help brighten up those long winter nights for you. In this month’s newsletter we share some important facts with you on compact fluorescent lighting as well as discuss the use of Tiffany lamps.

We also thought it might be a good time to discuss ventilated crawl spaces and how to deal with moisture that can inevitably build up in them during various times of the year.

Finally, we have introduced a new Ebook and article on installing an Arbor off the side of your house or in your backyard. Installing an arbor is a great spring project that can add beauty to your home or your yard, so take a look at our article on “How an Arbor can Spice up your Home”

As always, if you have any specific Home Improvement questions or would like to see articles on certain subjects send me an email at contact@homeadditionplus.com.

Also, if you have pictures of your home or latest home improvement project that you want to share with the HomeAdditionPlus.com community [Click Here] and we will create your own home’s webpage.

Again, good luck with your home improvement projects and enjoy the holiday season.
