A combo switch
outlet circuit is commonly used in utility rooms and bathrooms. A
combo switch outlet can be wired to have the switch control both the
outlet and a separate electrical appliance, such as an overhead light
fixture. In addition, a combo switch outlet can be wired to have the
switch just control a separate electrical appliance, while leaving the
outlet constantly powered.
Wiring a
combo switch outlet can be a little complicated, however with this video
