In this video, Mark Donovan of HomeAdditionPlus.com shows how to repair a
door lock with a sticky twist lock button and a key that won't turn well in the
keyhole.
Overtime and use a door lock can become difficult to turn a key in or the
locking button hard to twist. Usually you can repair a door lock with an
inexpensive tube of graphite lubricant, a screw driver and about 10 minutes of
effort.
If the key does not turn well in the keyhole, simply shoot a few puffs of
graphite lubricant into the keyhole and then insert the key and give it a couple
of twists.
